10 Fully Remote Jobs That Pay From $100 An Hour

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, getting a high-paying remote job was a bit like finding a unicorn. Times have changed a lot, however, and employers are much more willing to let high-performing employees work from home.

We searched the internet for job boards for companies hiring remote workers offering $100 an hour or more (the equivalent of $200,000 full pay). Here are just a few ideas to get you thinking about the possibilities.

1. Benefits Analyst

Possible salary: $120 an hour

The Benefits Analyst is a specialized financial role responsible for maintaining a company’s plans for healthcare, retirement, and other benefits. As is the case with many office finance positions, this position is easy to transition to full remote work.

One of the jobs we found offered a one-year contract for $120 an hour. This requires 5-7 years of experience as a Benefits Analyst, as well as specific experience using Workday, ADP, and Fidelity’s 401k accounting platform.

2. Product Marketer

Possible salary: $100 an hour

The Product Marketer is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase sales of a specific product or product line. This can be anything from hair care products to highly specialized software solutions.

One company, Vaco, is looking for marketers for a nine-month, $100 an hour contract. This position will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns, developing and monitoring marketing metrics, tracking budgets, and providing recommendations to improve sales performance and customer acquisition.

3. Freelance translator

Possible salary: $100 per hour or more

Are you fluent in English and other languages? You can earn a substantial salary as a freelance translator working with multinational corporations to help translate into different languages ​​and cultures.

One available position listed a starting salary of $100 an hour or more, required 1-2 years of interpreting experience, and previous work at international events or bilateral high-level meetings.

4. Recruiter

Possible salary: $100 – $250 per hour

As a remote search consultant/recruiter, you will be responsible for finding talented employees and matching them with companies that are looking for the right skill sets. While it’s a commission job, the company notes that its top producers make between $200,000 and $550,000 a year.

Since the job is completely remote, you will be establishing relationships over the phone and negotiating with both potential employees and employers to find the right candidate.

5. Software developer

Possible salary: $90 – $120 per hour

Software development has always been at the forefront of the work-from-home trend, and now the field has even more options for fully remote work.

Whether you are a programmer, back-end developer, front-end developer, or anyone else, there are thousands of remote positions available that match your skills. One of the vacancies we found was to help develop a fintech platform, adding new product features and maintaining the main application. Some previous experience is required and the job pays between $90 and $120 per hour with full benefits.

6. Telemedicine doctor

Possible salary: $100 – $130 per hour

Some professions are not well suited for working from home; until recently, the medical field was one of them. However, with the advent of Zoom and remote telemedicine, doctors, nurses, and paramedics can now join in to work from home.

One telemedicine provider, STA, offers full-time or part-time positions with salaries ranging from $100 to $130 per hour. If you are an MD, DO, NP, or PA with a valid state license, you can help patients through full-service primary care video conferencing.

7. Domestic sales representative

Possible salary: $40 – $115 per hour

Sales has always been a career that has to offer high income without higher education required. The internal sales team connects with potential customers online or by phone from the comfort of their own home.

While careers in sales exist in just about every industry imaginable, one we found online was in a medical laser treatment company. The job listing notes that average sales reps earn between $7,000 and $15,000 a month, while top salespeople can earn over $20,000 a month. The position includes full health care and retirement benefits. The job requires 3-4 years of sales experience, strong negotiation skills and a sense of purpose.

8. Marketing analytics

Possible salary: $100 – $150 per hour

For those with backgrounds in data science and analytics, there are many opportunities for remote work. For example, Zillow placed an open bid for a fully remote marketing analytics director with a salary of $200,000 to $320,000 per year.

What is marketing analytics? This position is responsible for transforming mountains of data into actionable metrics and strategic recommendations to grow the business and reach more customers. According to the job listing, the ideal candidate is “a creative and innovative problem solver and data storyteller who is comfortable helping partners think and solve complex business problems.”

9. Freelance publicist

Possible salary: $50-200 per hour

Freelance publicists work on a contract basis and can earn anywhere from $50 to $200 an hour with the right skills. Publicists are responsible for creating communication plans for clients, communicating stories to the media, and organizing advertising opportunities.

Publicists can work with clients from a wide range of industries, including technology, finance, lifestyle, and more. To earn at the higher end of the range, you will need excellent writing skills and experience as a publicist in the industry you are interested in. Even at a low level, this job pays $100,000 a year.

10. Senior Producer

Possible salary: $118 an hour

The Mom Project is looking for a Senior Producer on a contract basis. This position pays $118 an hour and will work with art directors, designers, copywriters, marketers, and more to develop original video content.

As a senior producer, you will need experience in marketing or journalism, as well as some experience in video production. According to the job listing, you will manage the entire creative production process, from ideation to content delivery.
