10 Things People Still Don’t Buy Even After Winning a Billion Dollars

Winning a billion dollars is the dream of most people. With this wealth you can buy anything your heart desires. However, after someone asked what people still wouldn’t buy, Reddit users agreed on these ten things.

1. Mega yacht

Someone said he wouldn’t buy a megayacht because he thought it was a waste of money for the super rich. They see it as a status symbol that comes at a cost and ultimately serves no practical purpose.

2. Branded clothing

Another shared that they would not want to spend their money on expensive designer branded clothing, stating that they would only pay extra for good quality, materials and features, not just the label. They believe that the label does not add value to the product.

3. Body fillers

One stated that they cannot continue to buy any fillers for their body despite any insecurities they may have. Fillers are dangerous and often start to look terrible.

They may prefer to keep their natural appearance. Ultimately, this person feels that their insecurities are not serious enough to justify the cost and potential risks of going through the filler procedure, and they choose not to buy it.

4. Tesla car

One of them noted that Tesla has been their dream car since 2012. However, after ten years of observing the behavior of its CEO Elon Musk, they have changed their minds. They don’t want to put money in their pocket.

They originally wanted the Tesla for its electrical capabilities and because it was positioned as a better car than it actually was, but now they don’t want it because of Elon Musk’s actions.

5. Any luxury car

Someone said he wouldn’t buy a luxury car even if he won a billion dollars. They might consider buying a newer version of their current car, but won’t buy expensive brands like Rolls Royce. Many others agreed with this opinion.

6. Expensive bags

Many agreed that they see no point in buying expensive handbags like those that cost $20,000 or even $1,000. They argued that spending a large amount of money on a purse required clarification, as it provided no practical or necessary benefit.

They do not see the need to invest such a large amount of money in something as insignificant as a handbag and prefer to spend their money on more important things.

7. Expensive cereal brands

One person mentioned that he wouldn’t buy expensive brands of cereal like Fruity Pebbles as they prefer the taste and quality of off-brand cereal like Fruity Dino Bites. They also mentioned the desire to consume them in large quantities, such as a salad bowl.

8. Louis Vuitton products

Another suggested that they would only buy Louis Vuitton bags or other obnoxiously patterned garments, regardless of the designer. They stated that they were unwilling to pay money for walking advertisements for the brand.

9. Expensive foods with edible gold

Someone mentioned that they recently found a new restaurant nearby and wanted to support it with a visit. However, upon reviewing the menu, they noticed that the restaurant had expensive dishes with edible gold. They thought it was terrible and decided to leave the restaurant after seeing the high prices for the food.
