What are the things you always refuse to spend money on, no matter how much you want to? I’ll go first. I can’t justify spending hundreds of dollars every few weeks on fingernail extensions and maintenance.

1. Heated seat subscription
One person explained that if you have to pay a subscription to get these features, they are already in the car. “You just have to crack it.” Several other men agreed that paying a monthly premium for luxury in a car is absurd. One noted that heated seats are a feature of many non-subscription vehicles.
2. Microtransactions in video games
Did you know that people pay real money for a video game skin? For example, some pay $20 to wear a unique hat, flags, or paint their weapons for their first-person shooter avatar. One person explained that he agreed, but he also thought it was wild, knowing that gamers spent over $1,000 on video game skins.
3. Tipping Twitch streamers
Many men have admitted that they will never subscribe to any Twitch streamer that collects more than 500 simultaneous viewers. One elaborated: “I hear it. Other than my free Prime subscription, I would not join anyone’s channel if I have a certain number of subscribers.
It amazes me how much streamers make from subscriptions and tips. People drop hundreds to watch someone play games for a couple of hours. It’s not even a return on investment and you can still watch for FREE.”
4. Garbage bags
One man explained that he refused to buy garbage bags when he was very cheap. Money was tight, so he was extremely honest about how he spent his money. “What is the point of buying what you throw away? I just used grocery bags.”
5. Cable TV
Wait? Anyone else paying for cable in 2023? One man shared that he had not paid for television for more than thirty-five years. “Of course I still buy equipment to get a TV, but I don’t pay That man“. I’ve never heard a cable company called a man.
6. Starbucks coffee
Many men don’t understand why people buy coffee when they can make it at home. One of them suggested that he was uncultured, but he never found Starbucks or any other coffee to be significantly better than drip coffee at home. “And it is, it’s so much cheaper.”
7. Vehicle detailing
Another item of expenditure that men do not pay for is expensive car trim. One said that he polished and waxed his car several times, and he liked the result. But one day he decided to take him to a car wash to see if they could do it better. “$130 late and I think it ended worse than I would have done.”
8. Food delivery services
Food delivery apps, including Uber Eats and Door Dash, don’t get free access to this group of men. However, some have suggested that if a restaurant has a delivery service, then they consider it. However, many would instead pick it up at the store for a much lower fee.

One person lamented, “I shouldn’t waste time changing the oil. Whenever someone gives me this terrible excuse, I mention that it’s much cheaper. I can change the oil in my car much faster than it takes to make an appointment, go to the service center, check in, sit there for 15 minutes while everything is done, leave and return home. So admit that you are too lazy; that’s a good enough reason not to do it yourself.”
10. Premium Products
Aside from razors, many men are reluctant to spend money on premium products or “fashion versions”. One elaborated, “Fifty bucks for a horse shirt? No, the same shirt at Walmart for ten bucks. Laundry soap for twenty dollars? No thanks, the $5 trademark works great.”
11. Furniture
In addition, several men refuse to spend money on furniture. Many explained that they build their own furniture, and one admitted that he made a desk, table, bed frame, shelves and a coat rack.
