Donald Trump’s call to march on the Capitol was no secret, according to emails

The House Ways and Means Committee recently released the results of its investigation into the January 6 march and Trump’s involvement in it. A screenshot of the email revealed that it was public knowledge that Trump would call for a march on the US Capitol.

Witnesses reluctantly

Many of the witnesses refused to reveal where they got the information about Trump’s plans. Ali Alexander claimed that he could not remember from whom he heard the information.

The email with the screenshots came from Katrina Pearson, who at the time was the liaison between the campaign and the rally. The email reveals a clear plan for protesters to march on the Capitol. It is not yet known whether the rally was intended to turn into violence.

There are many questions left

There was a lot of redacted material in the additional material presented in the final report, especially in the testimony of witnesses. Legal analyst Lisa Rubin believes the redacted material could shed more light on the January 6 situation, but the information could still be part of an ongoing investigation at the Justice Department.

This investigation is just one of many that could thwart Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. This situation, along with the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate and the accusation of tax fraud by the Trump organization, did nothing to win Trump over. a party that is already turning its back on him.

His dinner with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes didn’t help either. There is also a lot of speculation that Trump could be indicted before the election even takes place.
