Family car trips are so much fun and great to hit the road and admire the scenery along the way, but if you are taking a car trip make sure you have a few games to keep everyone happy and entertained.
I remember playing games with my sister in the back seat of our car, and for the most part we had fun. At about 4 o’clock we started to run. I would like us to prepare this epic list of fun road games for ourselves.
Travel games for the whole family
1. Spy
“I spy with my eye … something like that …” I think this is a classic that we all love to play when we hit the road. All in turn say: “I am spying with my little eye, something …”, and you say the color of what you see. Everyone can take turns guessing what you have chosen based on the color you speak.
Whoever chooses a suitable object gets the opportunity to choose an object next.
2.20 questions
Select something in the category one by one, for example Bird Type – Blue Jay. Don’t tell anyone and everyone will walk around and ask you what you have chosen. They ask you 20 questions and then they have to guess which one you have chosen. They need to be asked yes or no questions.
3. Alphabet
Pick a topic, such as TV Shows or Songs, and everyone will take turns saying one thing from that category, which starts with the letters of the alphabet in order.
4. Quiet time
Who can be silent the longest? Kids and adults alike can use this time to read, do electronics, or take a nap, and whoever can last the longest wins! Crazy libraries are also great for a quiet pastime.
5. Playing with license plates
Everyone follows the license plates of other states. Whoever can find the most from different states wins! You can also draw up a neglect system in advance depending on how far away the states are.
6. I’m going to play an adventure memory game.
Everyone in turn adds something that they go on an adventure, and the next person needs to remember what was said beforehand and then add their item. The first person starts by saying something like, “I’m going on an adventure, and this is what I’m collecting. Backpack. “
The next player says the same thing, but adds his item at the end. Continue until someone is wrong. If you make a mistake, you will be logged out. The last one to complete the sentence with all things wins!
7. Could you
Take turns making statements such as “would you rather kiss a frog or a mouse.” Everything goes. Take turns to see what everyone chooses. Ask the question you are interested in one by one.
8. Categories
Select a category and name items from that category one by one. An example would be. Dogs. Golden Retriever, Poodle, etc. Continue until someone else can name anything else.
9. Truth or Dare
It looks like a classic. Take turns asking someone if they choose truth or dare, and then ask them if they choose truth, or give them a hilarious challenge if they choose to dare.
10. Storytelling time
One person starts by adding to the story. Add one word at a time, but you can’t forget the words that were added before yours. Repeat the story told before your turn, then add your word. Whoever breaks the word order first will not hit. The winner is the one who is the last to tell the story without making a mistake.
11. Scavenger hunt
This game may take some preparation before you hit the road, but it will be fun for everyone. Before you travel, make a list of things to find on a piece of paper. While you’re on the road, hand out the list to everyone so they can tag items as soon as they see them.
The first person to find all the items wins! Hopefully, by the end of the trip, everyone will have everything checked.
12. Playing rhyme
Everyone has a chance to choose a word to start with; then the second person must pronounce the word that rhymes with the first person’s word. Continue until you stop thinking about rhyming words.
13. Name the song.
Sing it in turns until someone guesses the name. If you want to complicate the task, guess the name of the singer too!
14. Never was
“I’ve never kissed a frog.” Take turns approaching each person so that they can say their “never made any statements.” Anyone who has never done what the statement says raises their hands. This is a fun game to get to know everyone and a great icebreaker.
15. Stone, paper scissors.
Two people collide in a rock, paper scissors. Take turns choosing rock, scissors or paper, and whoever wins gets a point.
16. Thumb Wars
One, two, three, four, I declare war on my thumbs. Play mini games trying to grab your opponent’s thumb with your own. A fun game for all ages.
17. Spelling game
Get the spelling bee into the car. One person may ask that the words be spelled, and each word spelled correctly is a point. The winner is the one with the most points after a specified time or word count.
18. Reading game
Everyone can bring a book or several mini-books and read in turn. This is a great way to connect by finding out what kind of books everyone loves to read.
19. Connection
It’s fun because it can be tricky. Pick two people or two things and try to find three ways that they can connect. Everyone can choose in turn, and everyone else should try to find ways to communicate.
20. The first to see
Someone chooses something to pay attention to, and the first person to see it gets a point. You can choose a specific license plate, airplane, tall building, everything works!
21. Mini cars for children
You can find funny car minigames like tic-tac-toe, chess, checkers, which are very fun to play for all ages. Sometimes you can even find fun board games like Monopoly and Pity in the car minigames.
22. Games in applications
You can download some great multiplayer games to your electronics like headbands, minutes to win, sudoku, ping pong and some fun strategy or math games. These are all great fun and can even be used for family games.

You can download some great quizzes to your phone and ask questions. You can play one-on-one or with everyone in the car.
24. Poker
